Catnip is Australia's original cat enclosure company, making safe outdoor freedom available to every cat, in every postcode, since 1993.
How Catnip got here
We didn't start Catnip. We bought it on purpose.
Catnip has been Australia's original cat enclosure company since 1993. We didn't found it. We bought it, because it was already doing the one thing we cared about most: getting cats safely outside.
Our owner, Tim, already builds custom cat enclosures through his other company, CatWorks. Measured up, made to fit, professionally installed. The catch with custom is simple: it only ever reaches the cats he can physically get to.
"A great enclosure shouldn't depend on your postcode."
He wanted every cat to get outside safely, not just the ones in the right suburb. So when Catnip came up for sale, the original Australian-made, flat-pack, ship-anywhere enclosure, buying it was the natural move.
Same goal as CatWorks. No postcode required. A proven enclosure that turns up at your door and goes together in an afternoon, whether you're in Bondi or Broome.
